HIS EMINENCE, ARCHBISHOP NICHOLAS CELEBRATES 35 YEARS OF PRIESTHOOD AND 5 YEARS OF EPISCOPAL MINISTRY

EDENBORN, Pennsylvania—On August 5, 2025, His Eminence, Archbishop Nicholas celebrated the thirty-fifth anniversary of his presbyteral ordination and fifth anniversary of his episcopal consecration. The Hierarchical Divine Liturgy took place at Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Edenborn, PA, the church founded by Archbishop Nicholas and where he serves as pastor.
Joining His Eminence were His Beatitude, Metropolitan Alexy, First Hierarch of the True Orthodox Church of the Diaspora, fellow hierarchs, Archbishops Alexios a, and nd Philip, clergy of the Metropolia, and friends.
During the homily, Archbishop Nicholas reflected on the priesthood and gave thanks to God for the great gift He has bestowed upon him and gave thanks for all the clergy and attendees who have been so much a part of his life. He noted that he was blessed to have ordained many of the clergy in attendance and was humbled to be able to pass on the magnificent gift of priesthood to future generations.
Following the liturgy, an outdoor reception was held at the church at which everyone present had the opportunity to greet Archbishop Nicholas. The afternoon was filled with friendship and laughter, and was a perfect thank you for the years of service in the Lord’s vineyard.
